ABOUT DAUGHTERS OF ZION
Daughters of Zion is a blog designed for young Torah girls to get together and grow. It is a family safe environment to grow and to learn, and to get to know other people just like you who follow the ways God put down thousands of years ago in His precious Word. We believe that in these special times that we live, we need to connect, encourage, and inspire those around us to live lives honouring Him, our Abba, in all that we do, think and say. This true treasure that God has given us is very special and we must treasure it, although, at times, the walk can seem quite lonely and difficult. Through this blog, we hope and pray that we'll be able to connect in some way even if it is online (but hey, everyone is doing that at the moment!).
But we can't do this alone. We need people around us to support and encourage each other, with love and humility, as we seek to serve our Master.
This blog is aimed at girls of any age, although it will probably focus mainly on the teenage years of one's life. Of course, we want all of you to feel comfortable and at ease here, knowing there is none of the ''bad stuff'' on this site, so we'll try to make it as general as possible. If you are younger and still want to keep in touch, no problem. The great thing is that this blog is run under parental supervision, so hopefully all the hiccups will be sifted out before it gets to you.
We are not here to evangelize or indoctrinate anyone. We are here to encourage all the young girls just like us as we all undertake this mission in life: to seek the Kingdom of God, and to bring the Good News of His coming Kingdom. So, will you help us to improve, connect, and serve each other? You can help us out by sending in submissions for anything you think would be interesting or a blessing. If you have anything like a blog post or article - please send it through! Writing blog posts and articles for this entire blog isn't really our strong point.
We hope you are blessed by this blog, and will continue to grow in your faith and personal journey with Yeshua, as only the one who walks it hand in hand with Him will know how worthwhile it is.
Shalom!
